Bather/Grooming assistant
Are you passionate about working with dogs?
I am currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join asmall salon as a casual/part time Bather/Grooming Assistant at Mountain Hounds Dog Grooming, Katoomba in the Blue Mountains NSW. The ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, have attention to detail and able to provide excellent customer service to furry clients and their owners alike.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing dogs for grooming, including bathing, drying, and brushing to a high standard
- Maintain and clean grooming area and equipment
- Provide basic grooming services, such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their pet's needs are met and providing updates on services
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dogs
- Must have a basic understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40kg
